The Extra Mile and Disabilities

I was just made aware of this story of Rick and Dick Hoyt on Facebook recently, even though their story has been around a long time. We may not be able to make a difference like this father has, but we CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE in the lives of people with disabilities. It takes going that extra mile during a shift

It is easy, during a shift to think about what you will be doing when you get off your shift, but you’ll never make a difference that way. During your shift you should be learning about the people you are paid to care for and how you can help them with their dreams and goals for their life.

Here are some videos of this amazing team.
